Design Principles Human-Centered Inclusive Design Collaborative Design Playful Design Pei-Yu Hung is a designer focused on spatial experience design through play. She graduated from Rhode Island School of Design (BFA with Honors) majoring in Industrial Design. Her work focuses on the aspect of play within objects and stories that emerges through which. Recently, as a grant awardee of the Rhode Island School of Design Research SPUR Fund, she designed a playground for elders in nursing home settings. Her project Don’t Grow Up, Age, and Play, aims to promote play as a method of occupational and physical therapy in empowering elders in nursing settings. Other works with NASA space station, Providence Public Library all imagine space as a vessel for engagement and community building.
